Emojis

Emojis are a fun way to add humor, warmth, and visual interest to your writing. We use them in coachmark headlines and in emails

Do
  • Only use them at the end of a sentence
  • Consider inclusivity (race and cultural connotations).
Don't
  • Don't overdo it; a light touch is enough.
  • Don't replace words entirely i.e. using a wave for "hi". Rather, use emojis to add to the sentiment, while being clear and accessible—there should be no guesswork in our copy.
  • Don't force it! Better to go without than use an emoji that doesn't quite fit or that could be misinterpreted.
