We use US English, not British English.

It’s tempting to use PM when there’s a character count, right? But PM can mean “product manager”, “project manager”, anyone working on the product – and more, depending on your field of expertise. To eradicate any misunderstanding, always spell out an abbreviation or acronym the first time you mention it.

Once done, you can use the abbreviated form only.
