Social media is a great way to get people engaged with our brand, create buzz, and grow a community. It’s a real-time, visceral extension of brand personality that directly interacts with our audience to inspire, guide, and delight. But we want our social presence to create excitement inspired by the right kind of conversations.
Have fun. But think before you speak
Ever post something you wish you could take back the next day – or even the next second? Chances are you can quickly delete it and no one will be any the wiser.
But for a high-profile company, things are quite different. The media is always watching, and one wrong comment, post, or tweet can spark an instant firestorm of blowback, erasing years of hard won brand positioning. Not all publicity is good publicity.
Remember, when you interact on Productboard branded channels, you're acting as a representative of the company.
